It is possible to bake trout in the oven entirely or with steaks, there are many dishes from trout fillet. Fish can be stuffed or cooked without minced meat. Bake it in many different ways, recipes do not count. However, whatever recipe you choose, you need to know a few subtleties of cooking trout in the oven, so that the result will not disappoint you.

  • Dishes from fresh fish are more succulent - this is an axiom. However, it is also possible to make a tasty dish from frozen trout, if only it is properly defrosted. If you allow the fish to thaw out in the refrigerator, and after half an hour stand at room temperature, it will remain almost as juicy as before freezing.
  • When choosing a trout, try to get unspoiled. If you have fresh fish, pay attention to the smell (it should not be unpleasant), gills (they should be bright) and eyes (they should be convex and transparent). When purchasing frozen fish, see the production date and expiration date to select the most recent. Also, do not store the fish after thawing for too long, try to cook something from it during the first day.
  • Even noble varieties of fish have a smell that not everyone likes. To neutralize it and turn it into a seductive aroma will help lemon juice, dry white wine, spicy herbs, among which preference should be given to basil, thyme, rosemary, parsley. Therefore, before baking in the oven, the trout are often pickled.

Composition:

Method of preparation:

  • Squeeze juice out of half a lemon, sprinkle a trout carcass on it. Leave for half an hour.
  • While the fish is marinating, you can cook the vegetables. Peel them, peel the onions, remove seeds from the pepper, cut off the stem and seal near the tomato. Onions cut into thin half-rings, tomato - in small cubes. Pepper cut halves of rings. Red pepper will look more beautiful in this dish, but you can use both yellow and green.

Composition:

  • vegetable oil - 20 ml;
  • pitted olives - 10 pcs .;
  • red caviar - 50 g;
  • salt, black pepper, greens - to taste.

Method of preparation:

  • Wash and dry trout steaks with paper towels. Rub with a mixture of salt and pepper, you can add other spices and spices to taste. Let stand for 20 minutes.
  • Cut the lemon into thin slices.
  • In the baking dish, lay down the foil and brush it with oil.
  • Put the steaks on the foil, lay the lemon slices on top.

Trout fillet baked with potatoes under cheese crust

Composition:

  • trout fillet - 1 kg;
  • potatoes - 1 kg;
  • onions - 100 g;
  • sour cream - 0, 25 l;
  • olive oil - 50 ml;
  • chicken egg - 2 pcs .;
  • cheese - 0, 3 kg;
  • fresh dill - 50 g;
  • garlic - 3 cloves;
  • ground black pepper, salt to taste.

Method of preparation:

  • Peel and wash the potatoes, cut them into round plates, trying to make them quite thin, but still thicker than chips.
  • Fold the potato slices into a saucepan or bowl. Pour the butter in the amount of two tablespoons, add salt and pepper, mix.
  • Remove the peel from the onion, cut it into thin half-rings.
  • Wash, dry the dill. Grind it with a knife.
  • Coarsely grated cheese.
  • Cut the trout fillet into wide strips (2-3 cm each). Salt and pepper. Instead of salt and pepper, you can use complex seasoning for fish. Leave to marinate for 20-30 minutes.
  • Grease the baking dish with the remaining butter, fold the potatoes into it. Put in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 20 minutes.
