  • water - 60 ml;
  • dried granulated garlic - 5 g;

  • potato starch - 10 g;
  • vegetable oil - 5 ml;
  • wine vinegar (3 percent) - 40 ml;
  • honey - 20 ml;
  • cane sugar - 25 g.

Method of preparation:

  • Into the soy sauce add garlic and ginger, mix.
  • Melt the honey until liquid, add to the soy sauce. Stir thoroughly to dissolve the honey.
  • Dissolve starch in cool water, add to soy sauce.
  • Pour in bite and oil.
  • Stir all over again and set to slow fire.
  • When the sauce boils, boil it for 5 minutes, stirring until it thickens.

It remains to remove the sauce from the heat, pour into the sauceboat and wait until it cools. The above recipe for teriyaki sauce is not only the most common, but also the simplest. At the same time, it can be called universal, as it is suitable for pork, and for chicken, and for fish, and for rice with vegetables.

Teriyaki Sauce with Mirin

Composition:

  • soy sauce - 100 ml;
  • sake - 50 ml;
  • mirin (can be replaced with liquor) - 40 ml;
  • cane sugar - 25 g.

Method of preparation:

  • Mix all the ingredients and set on low heat.
  • Heat, stirring, until sugar is completely dissolved.
  • Cool and marinate the meat or serve with it.

The sauce can be used for cooking poultry meat. Serve it can be and rolls. Ideally, it should be used sake and culinary wine Mirin, but if necessary, you can replace them with the usual high-quality vodka and liquor.

Teriyaki sauce with confiture

Composition:

  • soy sauce - 100 ml;
  • confiture (any) - 100 ml;
  • sugar - 20 g;
  • dry white wine - 50 ml;
  • potato starch - 30 g;
  • water - 30 ml.

Method of preparation:

  • Mix confiture with soy sauce and wine. Add sugar.
  • Put on low heat and boil until boiling.
  • While stirring and continuing to heat up, wait until the sugar has dissolved and the sauce has a uniform consistency.
  • Dissolve starch with clean water. Stir in the sauce, stirring gently.
  • Cook the sauce for some time - it should thicken and become similar in consistency to liquid sour cream.

The sauce prepared according to this recipe is well suited to almost any dish of Asian cuisine, although it is adapted, one might say, its European version. In the refrigerator, it can be stored for up to two days.

Teriyaki sauce with oranges and sesame

Composition:

  • soy sauce - 150 ml;
  • sesame oil - 10 ml;
  • sesame seeds - 10 g;
  • oranges - 0, 4 kg;
  • garlic - 2 cloves;
  • green onions - 50 g;
  • honey - 40 ml;
  • fresh ginger - 20 g.

Method of preparation:

  • Skip the garlic through the press.
  • Wash oranges, cut in half. Squeeze the juice out of them. Grate the zest.
  • Finely chop the green onion with a knife.
  • Ginger peel and rub.
  • Melt the honey by placing it in a warm place for a while.
  • Sesame seeds calcined in a frying pan.
  • Mix all the ingredients, slightly heating them so that the honey is completely dissolved in the sauce.

Cool the sauce and pour it into a sterilized glass jar - this will keep it in the refrigerator for several days. In the sauce you can marinate both meat and fish, seafood. Well serve it to the rolls and similar dishes.

Teriyaki sauce with pineapple

Composition:

  • soy sauce - 100 ml;
  • water - 100 ml;
  • corn starch - 40 g;
  • pineapple (fresh or canned) - 100 g;
  • pineapple juice or syrup - 80 ml;
  • honey - 60-100 ml;
  • garlic - 2 cloves;
  • grated ginger - 10 g;
  • rice vinegar - 100 ml.

Method of preparation:

  • Grind the pineapple with a blender.
  • Mix the soy sauce with water and starch.
  • Add grated ginger, mashed potatoes and pineapple juice, garlic. Mix well.
  • Place in a water bath and boil until sauce begins to thicken.
  • Add honey, stir until completely dissolved. If you used instead of pineapple juice syrup, in which it was mothballed, take smaller honey.
  • Pour vinegar into the sauce, stir. Cook for another minute and remove from heat. Instead of rice vinegar, you can use wine 3% or balsamic vinegar, although the taste of the sauce in this case will be slightly different.

Teriyaki sauce made of pineapples and honey is very fragrant and quite thick. It can be served with any Japanese dishes.

The sweet-salty taste of teriyaki sauce is capable of giving a new taste to any meat, fish, poultry dishes, it is enough to pour them with this unusual sauce. However, teriyaki sauce has another purpose: it marinates pork, chicken, and fish so that they become covered with iridescent frosting during frying. It will not only give them a savory taste, but also make them more appetizing.

The original teriyaki sauce is made from such products as soy sauce, rice vinegar, cornstarch, sesame, brown cane sugar, mirin. However, if you cannot buy any of these products, you can successfully replace them with more affordable ones - the taste and aroma of the sauce will not suffer much from this.
