  • Middle-sized pork ribs with a small amount of fat and a significant amount of meat are most suitable for frying and stewing in a slow cooker. If they are deprived of fat, the dish will turn out dry. If there is little meat, the fat will be melted, and only bones will remain that will not bring any satiety or pleasure from absorbing a tasty snack.
  • Young pork when cooking turns out more tender and soft. This also concerns brisket. For this reason, it is not necessary to take the ribs, if the fat on them has a yellow tint - this is a sign that the meat belonged to an old pig.
  • From fresh meat any dishes come out more succulent. If you intend to cook frozen pork ribs in a multicooker, remove them from the freezer in advance, because they must be thawed in the refrigerator. If you try to speed up the process with warm water or a microwave, the ribs will be hard and dry.
