Many have never heard of such porridge. And some believe that this is a special kind of cereal.

In fact, the porridge “Friendship” was popular during the Soviet era. In fact, this is a mix of two or more kinds of cereals, cooked together.

  • For taste, raisins, dried apricots, nuts, sugar, berries or honey are added to it.

Druzhba porridge on milk (classic recipe)


  • millet - 0, 5 tbsp .;

Preparation Method

  • Millet is rinsed in hot water until the water is clear.

Preparation Method

Preparation Method

  • Dried apricots and raisins are washed and soaked in warm water for 15 minutes.
  • In a bowl, mix rice and millet.
  • Put the cereal in pots. Dried fruits are put on top. Add salt and sugar.

  • Put the pots in a cold oven and set the temperature to 200 ° C.
  • Prepare 50-60 minutes.

Friendship Porridge in a Microwave


  • millet - 3/4 cup;
  • rice - 3/4 cup;
  • sugar - 50 g;
  • salt - 0, 3 tsp;
  • water - 200 ml;
  • milk - 700 ml;
  • butter - 50 g.

Preparation Method

  • Rice and millet are washed in several waters.
  • Millet is boiled for 5 minutes in 1 liter of water. Then the water is drained.
  • Both types of cereal are mixed together and poured into a pan suitable for a microwave.
  • Pour water into the dishes and put salt.
  • Put in the oven and cook at high power for 10 minutes.
  • Pour the hot milk, stir it and put it in the oven again. Cook, without closing the lid, 15 minutes. During this time, the croup will swell, and the porridge will thicken a little. It is mixed, put sugar.
  • Power is reduced to the minimum, and the porridge is cooked for another 15 minutes, periodically stirring gently.
  • Put butter in the porridge, stir and close the lid. Leave for 15 minutes, and then laid out on plates.

Friendship porridge on water in a double boiler
