Method of preparation:
- Wash the cabbage well. It is important that its dimensions are suitable so that it can be put in the microwave.
- Remove the upper leaves - they are usually sluggish, tainted insects.
- Cut the cob as deep as possible, make a few deep cuts around it.
- Place a flat dish in the microwave. Some do without it, but it is easier to wash the dish than a microwave stand, so it is advisable to use it anyway.
- Place the head on the dish so that the place where the stalk was located is at the bottom.
- Turn on the microwave for 10 minutes, choosing the maximum power.
- Carefully, in order not to burn yourself, take out the head of cabbage and place it in a clean sink. Cool under running water.
- Carefully separate, if necessary, helping yourself with a knife, the upper leaves.
- When you notice that the remaining leaves are tightly attached to the head, and separating them, you risk tearing them, put the head in the microwave again. This time it is enough to turn on the microwave oven for 5 minutes.
- Cool the head again and continue to remove the cabbage leaves.
Repeating the five-minute steaming in the microwave is necessary until you can disassemble the leaves almost completely. After that, the dense veins will have to be cut out or repulsed with a culinary hammer, since they remain tough even after processing in the microwave, which is why it is impossible to form cabbage rolls.
Cabbage for stuffed cabbage in the package

Method of preparation:
- Wash the cabbage, remove the lingering leaves. Make deep cuts around the stalk.
- Place the head in the bag or in the roasting sleeve (the latter is preferred). Make a couple of holes with a toothpick to release steam.
- Put the cabbage bag in the microwave, turn it on for 3 minutes, setting the maximum power.
- Take out, cool under running water and remove the upper leaves. Repeat the procedure several times until you reach the right amount of leaves.
According to the same technology, it is advisable to cook for cabbage rolls and Peking cabbage. It takes less time: 2 minutes. In addition, for its softening should be enough one-time processing.
