If you add zest and spices when cooking in a saucepan, you get a drink that tastes like mulled wine to taste and color.

The classic recipe for cranberry juice

Composition:

  • cranberries (fresh or frozen) - 0.5 kg;
  • sugar - 0, 2 kg;
  • water - 3 l.

Method of preparation:

  • Carefully sort the berry and rinse. If you are using a frozen product, let it thaw out, put it in a colander, and place the drained liquid in a saucepan in which you will cook the juice. Remember that aluminum containers are not suitable for these purposes: when in contact with acids, this material forms compounds that are harmful to the body.
  • Place the berry in a bowl, add sugar, leave for 20 minutes.
  • Wipe the berries through a sieve or squeeze the juice out of them, wrapping them in folded gauze.
  • Cranberry juice set aside, send the husks to the pan. Fill them with clean water, put the pot on the stove.
  • Boil the juice 15-20 minutes after it boils.
  • Cool the broth to room temperature, strain.
  • Mix with cranberry juice.

This is one of the most simple recipes for making cranberry fruit juice, which is considered traditional. It can be cooked from both fresh and frozen berries.

Frozen cranberries juice with honey

Composition:

  • frozen cranberries - 0, 3 kg;
  • water - 2 l;
  • honey - 80 ml.

Method of preparation:

  • Put the cranberries in a bowl. Remember the berry tolkushkoy intended for the preparation of mashed potatoes. Squeeze through gauze folded in 3-4 layers or wipe through a sieve.
  • Pour the cake with water and boil for 10-15 minutes.

Fresh cranberry juice without boiling

Composition:

  • fresh cranberries - 0.5 kg;
  • sugar - 100 g;
  • boiled or mineral drinking water - 1, 5 l;
  • cranberry or rosehip syrup (optional) - to taste.

Method of preparation:

  • Pick and rinse the cranberries well, add sugar, leave for half an hour.
  • Add a glass of water, stir, rub through a sieve.
  • Pour the cake with a glass of water, leave for 2-3 minutes, strain.
  • Continue pouring and filtering the cake until the water runs out.
  • Connect all the parts of the resulting liquid. If desired, sweeten the juice with syrup.

This variant of cranberry juice is especially useful. It takes a long time to prepare, but the result is worth the effort.

Cranberry mors with wild rose

Composition:

  • fresh or frozen cranberries - 0.5 kg;
  • fresh or dried rosehips - 100-180 g (you need to take smaller dried products, more fresh ones);
  • water - 2 l;
  • sugar, honey or rosehip syrup - to taste.

Method of preparation:

  • Squatted and washed cranberries crush or squeeze juice from it.
  • Wash the wild rose, put it in a saucepan, cover with water and heat.
  • Boil over low heat for 10 minutes. Cool and strain.
  • Connect with cranberry juice. Stir.
