It looks especially presentable chicken, if it is baked. At the same time this dish is so simple to prepare that it is suitable for every day. A chicken baked in a slow cooker will be tastier and more appetizing if you use the advice of experienced housewives when preparing it.

  • You can bake in a slow cooker as a whole chicken, and its pieces (wings, legs, breast, fillets). The whole chicken will cook longer, and in order to form a brown crust in the process of roasting, it will have to be flipped once to the other side: it will roast and redden evenly.
  • When baking a whole chicken, its carcass must be prepared. In the shops today already cleaned chickens are sold, so that it remains only to wash and dry them very well. If you decide to bake a home-made chicken in a crock-pot, then it must be cleaned, carefully removing the inside and the knuckle, and scorched.
  • A baked chicken will be tastier and more tender if marinated before it. In the marinade, it must be at least two hours, but not more than a day.
  • Frozen chickens are not suitable for baking: their meat is too dry. Preference is better to give the cooled product.
  • A chicken baked in a slow cooker will turn out tasty and without filling, but if it is baked whole, then it can be stuffed with apples to improve the taste and flavor.

Baking technology may depend on the multicooker model and the specific recipe. So, the whole chicken and chicken fillet, sliced, cooked in different ways.

Chicken with garlic, baked in a slow cooker

Composition:

  • chicken (whole) - 1, 4-1, 6 kg;
  • garlic - 4-5 cloves;
  • mayonnaise - 60-80 ml;
  • salt, red pepper - to taste.

Method of preparation:

  • Wash the chicken carcass well and dry it with a towel.
  • Mix the mayonnaise with salt, pepper, put through a garlic press.
  • Rub the chicken with the mixture from all sides and leave in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
  • Put the chicken in the multicooker bowl.
  • Run the Baking program for 60-70 minutes (depending on the size of the carcass).
  • Turn the carcass to the other side, bake in the same mode for another 40-50 minutes.

Garlic sauce sets off the taste of baked chicken very well. In addition, the flavor of this dish is so appetizing that it is impossible to resist. Serve chicken can be whole, laid out on a dish, or dividing it into portions. It is tasty in itself, but it can be eaten with a vegetable salad, a side dish of rice or potatoes. Chicken with curry, baked in a slow cooker

Composition:

  • chicken (whole) - 1, 4-1, 6 kg;
  • curry seasoning - 5 g;
  • vegetable oil - 80-100 ml;
  • salt - to taste.

Method of preparation:

  • Wash the chicken, blot with a kitchen napkin. Tie the legs, hide the wings, making cuts at the breast with a knife. This will make the carcass more compact.
  • Mix a spoonful of vegetable oil with salt and curry. Coat the chicken with this mixture.
  • Pour the rest of the oil into the multicooker bowl. Put the chicken in it down back and turn on frying mode. If there is no such program in the multicooker, then use the baking mode. Fry for 20 minutes with the lid open.
  • Turn the chicken over and continue frying for another 20 minutes.
  • Lower the lid and set the Baking program for another 40 minutes. Turn the chicken twice during baking.

It is best to serve chicken cooked in this recipe with baked potatoes and a sweet and sour sauce.

Chicken with apples, baked in a slow cooker

Composition:

  • chicken (whole) - 1, 4-1, 6 kg;
  • apples (sour) - 0, 2 kg;
  • garlic - 2 cloves;
  • dried basil - 5 g;
  • salt, paprika - to taste.

Method of preparation:

  • Prepare the chicken carcass by washing it well and drying it with a towel.
  • From all sides, including the inside, rub the chicken with salt and pepper, as well as garlic passed through the press. Sprinkle with basil. Put in a fridge for marinating for a couple of hours.
  • Wash the apple. Remove the core from the knife. Slice the apple into medium-sized slices.
  • Place the apple slices inside the carcass. Tie the legs with twine, hide the wings in the incisions near the breast.
  • Put the multicooker on the back of the container.
  • Turn on baking mode for 40-50 minutes.
  • Open the lid, turn the chicken over. Run the same program for another 40 minutes.

Before serving, remove the apples from the chicken and place them on a platter around it. This dish is best served as a whole, so that guests can see how beautiful it is.

Chicken fillet baked in a slow cooker with apricots

Composition:

  • chicken breast fillet - 0, 8 kg;
  • canned apricots - 100 g;
  • cheese - 100 g;
  • garlic - 2 cloves;
  • sour cream - 100 g;
  • vegetable oil - 20 ml;
  • salt, curry, red pepper - to taste.

Method of preparation:

  • Wash and dry the chicken fillet, make a longitudinal incision in the center with a knife.
  • Grate the cheese, set aside half, mix the rest with garlic, crushed with a press, salt and spices, sour cream.
  • Spread the fillet with the resulting sauce.
  • Slice the apricots into slices and put a few such pieces in the cut in the chicken fillet.
  • Fasten with toothpicks to keep the apricots inside the chicken pieces.
  • Lubricate the multicooker bowl with oil and place the chicken in it.
  • Close the lid and set the Baking program to 40 minutes.
  • Open the lid, turn the chicken fillet over, sprinkle with cheese. Bake in the same mode for another 15 minutes, and the last 5 minutes - with the lid open.

Serve in slices with sweet and sour sauce. As a side dish fit rice.

Chicken drumsticks baked in a slow cooker

Composition:

  • chicken drumsticks - 1 kg;
  • mayonnaise - 20 ml;
  • ketchup - 20 ml;
  • honey - 10 g;
  • soy sauce - 20 ml;
  • vegetable oil - 20 ml.

Method of preparation:

  • Wash chicken drumsticks, blot with a napkin.
  • Mix mayonnaise, ketchup, soy sauce and honey melted to a liquid state. Properly coat the chicken drumsticks with marinade and leave in it for 2 hours in a cool place.
  • Lubricate the multicooker bowl with vegetable oil and place chicken drumsticks in it.
  • Bake chicken drumsticks in Baking mode for 20 minutes with the lid closed.
  • Open the lid, turn the legs over, lower the lid and bake for another 20 minutes. 5 minutes before the end of the program, the cover can be lifted.

The legs will be covered with an appetizing crust, they go well with almost any sauce and with almost any side dish.

Chicken, baked in a multicooker with potatoes

Composition:

  • chicken - 1 kg;
  • potatoes - 1 kg;
  • carrots - 100 g;
  • onions - 100 g;
  • tomatoes - 0, 2 kg;
  • cheese - 100 g;
  • garlic - 4 cloves;
  • vegetable oil - 50 ml;
  • salt, red pepper - to taste.

Method of preparation:

  • Wash the chicken. When it dries, cut it into portions.
  • Peel the onion and cut into small cubes.
  • Carrots, peeled, coarsely grated.
  • Peel the tomatoes, scalding them with boiling water to facilitate this process. Pulp cut into small cubes.
  • Peel the potatoes and slice them.
  • Finely rub the cheese.
  • Crush garlic by passing through a special press.
  • Pour oil into the multicooker bowl. Turn on the “Frying” or “Baking” mode for 20 minutes.
  • Rub chicken pieces with garlic and spices with salt. Put them in the multicooker bowl and fry with the lid open for 10 minutes on each side, remove from the multicooker.
  • Put onions and carrots in the slow cooker. Run the Baking program for 20 minutes. Fry vegetables for 5 minutes, then put the potatoes to them and continue to fry with the lid open until the end of the program, that is, another 15 minutes. 5 minutes before the end of the program, salt and pepper.
  • Put the chicken back in the multicooker bowl, put the tomatoes in the same place. Lower the lid and cook in the Quenching mode for 15 minutes.
  • Open the lid, mix everything, sprinkle with grated cheese. Turn on the Baking program for 15 minutes. 5 minutes before its completion, open the lid.

The chicken baked in this recipe can be served without a side dish, but the sauce does not hurt.
