The technology of making tomatoes is royally simple; it does not provide for the sterilization of snacks in cans. Such tomatoes can be made both in one-liter cans, and in 2-liter, 3-liter ones. Even a novice cook will cope with the task if he knows and takes into account a few moments.

  • For tomatoes, only really ripe, but still strong tomatoes are royally suitable for tomatoes. Immature and over-ripe fruits, as well as soft, damaged ones should be left for other snacks.
  • Before putting the cans in the tomatoes, wash them thoroughly, paying special attention to the areas adjacent to the fruit of the stalks. The stalks themselves are removed, in their place they are punctured with a toothpick. Thanks to the puncture, tomatoes will not burst during preservation and are better saturated with marinade.
  • Experienced housewives are advised to choose medium-sized tomatoes for pickling royally, not too small, but easily included in banks. More importantly, in the bank were fruits of about the same size.

Composition (3 liters):

  • tomatoes - 1, 5-1, 7 kg;
  • dill - 2 umbrellas;
  • carnation - 4 pcs .;
  • allspice peas - 4 pcs .;
  • bay leaf - 1 pc .;
  • sugar - 1, 5 glasses;
  • salt - 20 g;
  • table vinegar (9 percent) - 50 ml;
  • sweet pepper - 150 g;
  • bitter peppers (optional) - 1 pc .;
  • water - how much will leave.

Method of preparation:

  • Sterilize the jar. Boil a suitable metal lid.
  • Wash the spices, leave them to dry.
  • Wash the tomatoes well by removing the stem and puncturing the tomato peel at 2-3 places near the stem with a toothpick.
  • Cut hot pepper into rings. You can use not the whole pod, but only a part of it, if you do not want the canned food to be too sharp.
  • Bulgarian pepper, washed and freed from seeds, cut along into 4-6 parts.
  • Put spices and pepper rings on the bottom of the jar.
  • Fill a jar with tomatoes, put strips of pepper near the walls.
  • Boil water, pour tomatoes. Wait 20 minutes.
  • Drain the water in a saucepan, add sugar and salt to it, boil until the crystals are completely dissolved.
  • Add vinegar, bring to a boil.
  • Fill the tomatoes with hot marinade, roll up.
  • Turn the jar over, cover with a blanket. Leave to cool in a steam bath for additional preservation.

After a day, the blanket can be removed, the jar can be returned to its normal position and rearranged into the pantry or any other room where the temperature does not rise above 18 degrees.

Tomatoes royally with honey

Composition (9 l):

  • tomatoes - 5 kg;
  • honey - 0, 3 kg;
  • sugar - 150 g;
  • garlic - 15 cloves;
  • horseradish leaves - 1, 5-2 pcs .;
  • fresh dill - 60 g;
  • currant leaves - 6 pcs .;
  • black pepper peas - 6 pcs .;
  • carnation - 6 pcs .;
  • table vinegar (9 percent) - 150 ml;
  • water - 7-8 l.

Method of preparation:

  • Put clean, dry spices and fresh dill into sterilized jars. Leave a few sprigs to put on top of the tomatoes.
  • Clean garlic cloves, distribute among banks.
  • Wash the tomatoes, let them dry. Knock the fruit, spread on the banks. Cover with shelved dill.
  • Pour boiling water over tomatoes. After 20 minutes, pour the water from the cans into the pan.
  • Add salt, sugar, vinegar. Bring to a boil, let simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Fill the tomatoes with marinade, cork tightly.
  • Leave to cool upside down under a blanket.

After cooling, remove the jars of tomatoes in a cool place.

Tomatoes royally in honey marinade with onions

Composition (3 liters):

  • tomatoes - 1, 5-1, 7 kg;
  • onions - 0, 2 kg;
  • salt - 50 g;
  • honey - 100 ml;
  • apple cider vinegar (6%) - 50 ml;
  • dill seeds, fruit leaves - to taste;
  • water - how much will go into the jar.

Method of preparation:

  • Wash, dry the tomatoes. Knock them with a toothpick.
  • Free the onions from the husk. Cut into thin rings. Divide into 3 parts.
  • Sterilize the jars. At the bottom, place the seeds or umbrellas of dill, the leaves of fruit trees, one part of onions.
  • Fill the jars with tomatoes half, put another part of the onion.
  • Submit the tomatoes, cover with the remaining onions.
  • Pour boiling water. Wait 20 minutes. Pour the water into the pot.
  • Mix with salt and vinegar, bring to a boil.
  • Add honey, stir, boil for 2-3 minutes, remove from heat.
  • Fill the tomatoes with honey marinade, without waiting for it to cool. Hermetically close the banks. Turn over, wrap.

To store tomatoes closed according to this recipe should be in an unheated room, otherwise they will quickly deteriorate.

Tomatoes royally with watermelons

Composition (1 l):

  • tomatoes - 0, 3-4 kg;
  • watermelon - 100-150 g;
  • Bulgarian pepper - 100-150 g;
  • salt - 10 g;
  • sugar - 20-30 g;
  • citric acid - 4 g;
  • celery - 1 sprig;
  • water - how much will go.

Method of preparation:

  • Prepare the jars and lids suitable for them, having well washed and sterilized.
  • Wash the tomatoes, cut them in half.
  • Separate the watermelon flesh from the rind, clean the seeds, cut into cubes.
  • Pepper, cleared of seeds, cut into large strips.
  • At the bottom of the cans, place the celery sprigs, spread the tomatoes on top. Then put the pepper, put the watermelon pulp in the upper layer.
  • Pour boiling water over food.
  • After 10 minutes, pour the liquid from the cans into the pan, add citric acid, sugar and salt to it, boil for 2-3 minutes, return to the cans.

It remains to roll up the banks and allow them to cool in a steam bath. Store snack recommended in a cool place.
