Royal cheesecake with cottage cheese

The royal cheesecake is shaped like a cake, to taste - an airy curd casserole with a crispy crust. From the usual cheesecake, similar to an open pie with a filling, it differs not only in size and shape. The main difference is in the composition of the dough, and the filling is also usually obtained more tender, resembling a soufflé. If such a dessert is prepared for breakfast or afternoon tea, it is unlikely that even those who are indifferent to cottage cheese will be able to refuse it. On the festive table, this delicacy also looks quite decent. One has only to try the royal cheesecake, as it immediately becomes clear that it was not accidental that they “titled” this dish.

Cooking Features

The process of cooking royal cheesecakes, despite the clear name of the dish and its excellent taste, is not complicated. Even an inexperienced cook will cope with the task if he knows and takes into account a few moments.

  • The ideal dough for a royal cheesecake resembles an oily crumb. This can only be prepared manually. For this purpose, flour, butter and sugar are used, they are ground by hand. In this case, the oil should be cold and chopped with a knife or grated. You need to knead the dough quickly, until the butter has melted.
  • The dough for the royal cheesecake can be made not only in butter, but also on the spread, margarine, but the benefit and taste of the finished dish will definitely affect it. Real gourmets believe that the royal cheesecake should be made exclusively on butter with a fat content of 82.5%. The composition of this product should not be anything except cow cream.
  • To prevent the dough from melting while the filling is being prepared, it is advisable to start cooking the royal cheesecake with it.
  • It is convenient to bake the royal cheesecake in a special form with a detachable side. From it the finished product will be easy to extract without damaging it. Baking is easily removed from silicone molds.
  • The time for making the cheesecake is approximate in the recipes. This is due to the fact that the oven even in the stoves of the same brand may work differently. The readiness of a product is best judged by its appearance: if it is reddened, then it is time to remove it.
  • Sometimes it happens that baking on top is ruddy or even burnt, and inside it is not baked. Most often this is due to the wrong choice of temperature. If you are so embarrassed, next time set a lower temperature. Avoiding trouble will be easier if you put a pan of water under the form on the grid.

You can serve royal cheesecake, like a cake or a sweet cake, for tea. There will be no trouble if you offer it separately, watering with sour cream.
