Cooking

Cottage cheese for the preparation of processed cheese can be taken by anyone, but the consistency of the finished product will depend on it. Cheese made from dry cottage cheese hardens more strongly and the result is a cross between melted and hard cheese. Soft curd cheese will be pasty and can be spread on a sandwich.

1. First, heat the milk almost to a boil over low heat. Put cottage cheese in it and, while gently stirring, keep it on the stove until the milk coagulates (yellowish whey is formed from the milk). Cottage cheese at the same time should turn into a sticky mass, which slightly reaches for a spoon.

2. After that, discard the cottage cheese in a colander with small holes to separate it from the whey. On a colander of a cottage cheese ball, you need to turn it over several times.

Pressed curd mass shifts to the pan, grind with salt and soda and set on a small fire.

3. While the cottage cheese is melted, it needs to be continuously stirred, as it sticks strongly to the bottom of the pan and quickly burns.

4. After the mass becomes homogeneous, add butter and seasoning to it. At this stage, you should also try cheese on salt and salt it if necessary. Seasoning choose to your taste. Very tasty, this cheese is obtained even with the simplest set - dried onions, dill and parsley.

Keep the cheese in the fridge, and so that it spreads easily on the bread, reach it in advance or put it right in the microwave for a few seconds.
