Sweet brushwood serves as an independent dessert, which can be crunched by gathering in the evening with the whole family in front of the TV, it is also served with tea, coffee, cocoa. In some supermarkets you can buy this delicacy, but it will cost a lot of money, and not every village has a shop or cafe that produces similar sweets. But each housewife can make brushwood at home. The necessary skills are developed quickly, so even an aspiring cook can master recipes for making crispy dough figures.

Cooking household brushwood requires some culinary skill, but many novice housewives manage to make tasty and delicious curls from the first time. Even if the first experiment fails to be one hundred percent successful, do not despair: the second time you will almost certainly have the brushwood for what you hope to get, that is, golden, crispy, tasty. Knowledge of some subtleties will facilitate the task.

  • To obtain crispy products, mineral water or alcoholic beverages are added to the dough. Sour cream, kefir, cottage cheese make it possible to make more tender, but slightly less crispy cookies. Choose a dessert recipe according to the result you intend to get.
  • The dough for making brushwood is thinly rolled, so that it roasts as quickly as possible, and folded in a special way. Usually, for this, a layer of dough is cut into rectangles or rhombuses, a longitudinal section is made in the center, the tips of the test are passed through it and it is as if turned inside out. Other options are possible. For example, a square piece of dough can be cut from the corners and one corner of the resulting triangles can be glued to the center.   • Heat the remaining oil in a skillet. Dip a few pieces of dough into it and fry them in deep fat until they have a characteristic golden tint. Spread roasted brushwood with a slotted spoon on a napkin.

  • sugar - 50 g;

  • Sift flour.

  • soda - 5 g;
  • salt - 5 g;
  • cooking oil for frying - as needed.

  • Sift flour.
