Today we want to offer you a very rich and tasty buckwheat porridge stewed in tomato sauce. No, of course, buckwheat porridge ate everything. But surely not everyone tried this option.
Porridge is crumbly, tasty and satisfying. If you adhere to fasting or diet, then this option to diversify your menu should come to your taste. You can also add any fried mushrooms to buckwheat. With the forest it will be incredibly fragrant, and with the home (mushrooms and mushrooms) nourishing.
Buckwheat - 1 cup;
Onions - 1-2 pieces;
Carrots - 1 piece;
Tomato juice - 1 cup;
Tomato paste - 3 tbsp. l spoons;
Water - 2 cups;
Salt - 1 tsp;
Vegetable oil - 10 ml;
Peel the onions and carrots. Onions cut into small cubes. Grate the carrots. In a frying pan, heat the vegetable oil and place the vegetables.
Fry onions and carrots for 10 minutes, remembering to stir.
Add tomato juice to the pan. In summer, instead of tomato juice, put in a frying tomatoes without peel, cut into cubes.
While vegetables are being stewed, rinse the buckwheat under running water to remove all the dust. If in a pack you saw unpeeled buckwheat, then it is better to clean it beforehand. Pour some cereal onto a white sheet of paper. Remove all black grains and debris. So go through all the buckwheat.
Washed buckwheat poured into the pan. Stir and cover with a lid.
FROM TOMATO PASTA AND WATER (2 cups) make the sauce - dilute the paste in the water and add all the spices.
Pour the sauce into the pan and mix. Cover and simmer on low heat for 20-30 minutes. Periodically open the lid and check the porridge is ready. Mix it is not necessary.
When the porridge is boiled soft, you can remove the pan from the heat. Mix all the contents again. Now you can serve.
