  • Amber rum (it’s golden, golden) is characterized by a pronounced taste, it is drunk in its pure form, more often after eating, less often - as an aperitif. To obtain this drink, raw rum is aged in oak barrels for 2-4 years.
  • Black rum, which has a dark brown color, is kept in such barrels for at least 5 years. This drink has a bright and deep taste, typical of elite alcohol. You can drink it separately or adding to coffee. Like brandy, use it after meals.

  • Rum can be eaten with any seafood (except for herring), meat and sausages, desserts and chocolate. An even better pair for it will be cinnamon-sprinkled fruits and berries. Some do not recognize any other combination with rum, except for bread, coffee and a cigar.

If you do not like strong alcoholic beverages, you can drink rum with ice. The true taste of the drink in this case will be less pronounced, but not completely erased, you can appreciate it.
