Oatmeal raisin cookies - basic cooking principles

Homemade oatmeal cookies not only taste good, but are also useful baking. It is prepared only from natural products, so even nursing mothers and those who monitor their health can eat cookies.

You do not need much time to make this wonderful pastry, and as a result you will get soft, slightly crispy cookies.

The main ingredient is oatmeal. Better for cookies to take “Hercules”. Fast food product should not be used.

In addition to cereal, you will need flour, baking powder, sugar, raisins, eggs and butter.

It is advisable to pre-soak the raisins in warm water and leave it until it swells and becomes soft. Then it is drained of liquid and lightly dried on a napkin.

The oil should be soft, so it is removed beforehand from the refrigerator. Then beat it with sugar until fluffy mass. It sends an egg, flour with baking powder and raisins. Knead the dough and send it to rest in the fridge.

Cookies are made from dough and baked until golden.

In addition to raisins, nuts, chocolate pieces, almonds or sunflower seeds can be added to the dough.

Recipe 1. Oatmeal raisin cookies

Ingredients

baking powder - 5 g;

250 g of oat flakes “Hercules”;

raisins - 50 g;

butter - half a pack;

white sugar - two-thirds cup.

Method of preparation 1. Remove the oil from the refrigerator beforehand and leave it until soft. Put it in a bowl, add sugar and beat with a mixer until fluffy.

2. Beat in the egg and continue to beat a couple more minutes.

3. Add flour, oatmeal flakes, baking powder to the resulting mass and add raisins. Knead the dough, cover it with cling film and send it to the refrigerator for 20 minutes.

4. Sprinkle deco for baking water and lay the parchment. We moisten hands with water. We tear off a piece of dough, roll it into a ball and give it a shape of a not too thin flat cake. We spread on the deco.

Ingredients

5 ml vanilla extract;

150 g brown sugar.
