  • Fill the cranberry mass with sugar, cover with a cloth and let it stand for 8-12 hours in a cool place.
  • Arrange in jars. They need to prepare in advance. Covers should also be sterilized.
  • Close the jars tightly and put in the refrigerator. Open as needed.

If someone likes sweeter jam, can increase the amount of sugar by 30-50%. But if you need to reduce the amount of sugar, you will have to use another recipe.

Cranberries under a sugar “cork”

Composition:

  • cranberries - 1 kg;
  • granulated sugar - 0, 9 kg.

Method of preparation:

  • Clean and dried cranberries with any of the methods listed in the previous recipe.
  • Pour into three glasses of sugar and put in the refrigerator overnight.
  • Spread in half-liter jars, pre-sterilized.
  • Cut circles from parchment. Their diameter should be about 2-3 cm higher than the diameter of the banks.

Method of preparation:

  • Wipe the prepared cranberries in the way that you think is the easiest.
  • Spread into tight bags or clean plastic containers.
  • Sprinkle with sugar, close and hide in the freezer before winter.

In the freezer, frozen cranberries can be stored completely, completely without sugar, but the method described in the recipe can significantly extend the shelf life of the berry.

Composition:

  • cranberries - 1 kg;
  • orange - 0, 25 kg;
  • sugar - 1, 5 kg.

Method of preparation:

  • After washing and drying the cranberries, turn them through a meat grinder or wipe them in another way.
  • In the same way, wipe an orange, after clearing it, cutting it into pieces and removing the bones.
  • Mix the cranberries with the orange, add sugar and sugar to the fruit mash.
  • Put on a slow fire or water bath and heat, in any case, not bringing to a boil. Your goal is to ensure complete sugar dissolution.
  • Pour the cranberry-orange delicacy on sterilized jars, seal. When cool, rearrange in the fridge.
