In countries where bananas grow like apples, these fruits make all kinds of foods. One of the easiest to prepare desserts are bananas in batter. The result is an exotic dish that has such a pleasant taste that almost everyone likes. This dessert will delight children and adults, will cost inexpensive.

Cooking Features

A batter for bananas can be made different: on milk, kefir, yogurt, even on mineral water. Flour for it is usually used wheat, but there are options with rice, corn.   • A banana batter should resemble thick sour cream in consistency in order to envelop them tightly. Adding milk can be made a little thinner. If the batter, on the contrary, turned out to be too liquid, you can put flour in it.
  • Cut bananas for cooking in batter, usually in large circles. Some recipes provide for another form of cutting: the fruit is cut in half lengthwise with a knife, then cut across into 2-3 pieces. Small bananas can be fried in batter entirely.
  • You need to fry bananas in batter quickly. Oil is heated in advance, and it should be a lot. Many cooks prefer to deep-fry bananas. As soon as the batter is reddened, the bananas are removed from it with a slotted spoon and spread on a napkin so that it absorbs the excess fat.

A simple recipe for bananas in batter

Composition:

  • bananas - 0, 6-0, 75 kg;
  • milk - 100 ml;
  • wheat flour - 130 g;

  • sugar - 20 g;
  • soda (quenched with vinegar or lemon juice) - 3 g;
  • salt - a pinch;
  • refined vegetable oil - how much will go;
  • powdered sugar (for sprinkling) - to taste.

Method of preparation:

  • Wash and peel bananas. Cut the banana pulp into circles about 2 cm thick.
  • In the bowl, break the egg. Add to it a pinch of salt and sugar (its amount can be reduced or increased, focusing on your taste). Whisk with a whisk.
  • When the egg mass becomes homogeneous, add milk to it. Whisk it all together.
  • Sift flour, add it to the liquid mixture. Stir to get a mass without lumps. Pouring flour or pouring milk, if there is a need for it, give the batter the consistency of sour cream.
  • Extinguish soda, add to batter, mix.
  • Heat oil in a saucepan.
  • String a piece of banana on a fork, dip it in batter, put in a saucepan with boiling oil. Do this with a few more pieces of fruit. You should not put all the bananas in the butter at once - you will have to fry them in small batches.

Bananas in rice flour batter

Composition:

  • bananas - 0.5 kg;
  • rice flour - 100 g;
  • mineral water (cold, carbonated) - 100 ml;
  • vegetable oil (preferably peanut) - how much will leave;
  • powdered sugar (for serving) - to taste.

Method of preparation:

  • Cut the bananas into 4 parts: first in half lengthwise, then the resulting halves across.
  • Put flour in a bowl, pour cold mineral water to it, mix well.
  • Heat the oil in a thick-bottomed frying pan.
  • Dip bananas in batter, put them in a frying pan.
  • Fry on all sides until golden brown.
  • Take out a slotted spoon, put it on a dish covered with a napkin.
  • Wait 10 minutes until excess oil is drained.

Put the bananas on the dish where you plan to serve them, sprinkle with powdered sugar and invite everyone to try a new dish.

Bananas in flavored batter

Composition:

  • bananas - 0, 7-0, 8 kg;
  • milk - 0, 2 l;
  • wheat flour - 0, 2 kg;
  • turmeric - 2 g;
  • cinnamon - 4 g;
  • icing sugar - to taste;
  • refined vegetable oil - how much will go.

Method of preparation:

  • Pour cinnamon and turmeric into milk, beat with a whisk.
  • Enter the sifted flour, stir until a homogeneous composition, the consistency of home-made sour cream.
  • Bananas, peeling, cut into circles about 1 cm thick.
  • Add oil to the pan - its layer should be at least 3 cm.
  • Heat the oil to a boil.
  • While dipping pieces of banana into a batter, put them in a frying pan and fry, turning as necessary, until golden.
  • Place the fried bananas on a plate covered with a paper towel. Wait until the fruit has cooled. During this time, the towel will have time to absorb excess oil.

It remains to spread the bananas in the vases and sprinkle with powdered sugar. This dessert will be a good addition to tea.

Bananas in Honey Dauche

Composition:

  • bananas - 0, 4 kg;
  • chicken egg - 1 pc .;
  • water - 20 ml;
  • lemon juice - 20 ml;
  • wheat flour - 160 g, including 80 g for breading;
  • baking powder for dough - 3 g;
  • honey - 40 ml;
  • refined vegetable oil - how much will go;
  • powdered sugar or honey for serving - to taste.

Method of preparation:

  • Peel the bananas, cut the flesh of each fruit in half lengthwise, then cut these halves into pieces about 3-4 cm long. Fold into a bowl.
  • Melt the honey to a liquid state. Mix one spoon of beekeeping product with a spoon of lemon juice, pour bananas with this mixture, mix them carefully.
  • In a clean bowl, break an egg, add a spoonful of water to it, whisk the products with a whisk.
  • Add the remaining honey to the egg, whisk them together with a whisk.
  • Pouring sifted flour and stirring, prepare a dough that resembles liquid sour cream in consistency. With the first spoonful of flour, do not forget to pour baking powder into the dough.
  • Pour the remaining flour onto a plate.
  • Breast banana slices in flour so that the batter gets better.
  • Dip them in the dough.
  • Put the bananas in batter on a hot skillet with preheated butter. Fry until golden brown.

It remains to put the bananas on a dish, remove excess oil with a napkin, cool. Before serving, sprinkle with icing sugar or honey.

Bananas in kefir batter

Composition:

  • bananas - 0, 4 kg;
  • kefir - 100 ml;
  • wheat flour - 100 g;
  • sugar - 20 g;
  • cinnamon - 5 g;
  • refined vegetable oil - how much will go;
  • chocolate (for serving) - to taste.

Method of preparation:

  • Bananas, cleared, cut into 4 parts: first in half lengthwise, then across.
  • Sift flour. Mix it with cinnamon and sugar.
  • Pour the kefir into the dry mixture, mix everything well. The result should be a dough, the thickness resembling sour cream.
  • Heat the oil in a saucepan; it is better not to save it.
  • Dip bananas in batter, dip them in boiling oil. Fry, making sure that the dessert is browned on all sides.
  • Put the bananas on a plate covered with a napkin.

Once bananas have cooled and free of excess oil, put them into plates. Melt chocolate in a water bath, pour them a treat. At the specified in the recipe number of bananas should be enough 80 g of chocolate. Instead of chocolate, you can use fruit or berry syrup for serving. Especially well suited orange, strawberry. Another alternative is condensed milk.
