Dairy products are often used as a basis for dough, but they all have different properties and are not interchangeable. For example, milk or sour cream weights fresh dough and require the addition of butter to soften it, but sour milk products (kefir and whey) will give a very good lush baking. However, like porridge, you won't spoil the dough with butter, so it is also good to add a little butter to the dough on kefir - it will become softer, friable and crumbly.

Today we offer you a basic recipe for kefir cake, and you can add it with nuts, candied fruits, dried fruits, poppy seeds.

Ingredients:

  • kefir - 1 cup;
  • flour - 2 glasses;
  • chicken eggs - 3 pcs .;
  • butter - 100 g;
  • granulated sugar - 1 cup;
  • baking powder - 1 bag;
  • Vanillin - 1 bag.

1. Prepare the ingredients for our fragrant and lush cake. We leave the oil on a saucer so that it becomes soft. Sift flour using a sieve.

2. In a deep container we send eggs, vanillin and the specified amount of granulated sugar, beat until a homogeneous mass is formed.

3. Pour the kefir into the contents and put the butter in, mix it vigorously.

4. Mix the flour with baking powder, pour small handfuls into the kefir mixture.

5. Thoroughly mix and make sure that the dough has acquired the consistency of liquid sour cream.

6. We lubricate the form with butter, pour the dough onto it, and put it in the oven heated to 170 degrees for 50 minutes.

7. Remove the resulting cupcake from the oven and serve.
