We want to share with you a recipe for a very simple and tasty pastry - cottage cheese bagels with jam. If your children do not eat cottage cheese, then they will eat such pastries with pleasure. Yes, and those who love cottage cheese, too, will be delighted with the test. But it turns out tender, crumbly and very tasty. For the filling, it is best to take jam or thick jam. But you can take another filling - chocolate, condensed milk, sugar with cinnamon.
Well, let's see the execution of this recipe in step-by-step photos.
Ingredients:
Cottage cheese - 400 g;
Flour - 2-3 glasses;
Baking powder - 1.5 tsp;
Butter - 150 g;
Sugar - 1/2 cup;
Jam - 100 g
Recipe:
To begin, let us explain why the ingredients are not the exact amount of flour. It all depends on the humidity of the curd. If it is medium or dry then 2 glasses will be needed. If the cheese is wet, then you may need to mix and three glasses. Therefore, count on 3 cups, and how much will take the dough will figure out along the way.
In a deep bowl, add 2 full cups of flour and butter-softened pieces.
Add cottage cheese to them.
We grind the mass with our hands to make a crumb.
If you cook with the children, involve them in this process; it is not only useful for their fingers, but also very interesting. Just remember the children are the flowers of life, and if they scattered all the flour in the kitchen, they fertilized the soil.
We put the curd-oil crumb on the table and knead the dough, pouring flour as needed. The dough should turn out soft and not stick to your hands. Hide it in the bag and send it in the fridge for 30 minutes.
Divide the dough into 3 parts. Roll one into a circle and cut into 8 parts.
Put some jam or other filling on each slice.
We roll the rolls from the edge to the center. We spread the bagels on a baking sheet and send it to the oven preheated to 80 degrees. We bake about 20 minutes. Focus on your oven.
