
Lazy cabbage rolls are a cross between the cabbage rolls and juicy cutlets. They are served even to children in kindergarten!
Lazy cabbage rolls are prepared in several stages, but at the same time, at one of the stages of creating a dish, you can freeze it in the freezer to always have ready-made ready-to-cook foods, for example, when suddenly the uninvited guests find themselves on your doorstep.
Such a tasty and appetizing dish will always be in demand on the table, both on weekdays and on holidays. Even despite the large number of processes in cooking, lazy cabbage rolls are prepared very quickly and quickly!
To create them you will need:
- 300 g minced meat;
- 0.5 head of cabbage;
- 2 carrots;
- 150 grams of rice;
- 1 chicken egg;
- 3-4 tbsp. wheat flour;
- 80 ml of vegetable oil;
- salt and spices to taste.
For the sauce:
- 2-3 items of l. sour cream;
- 1 tomato;
- 1 tsp. Sahara;
- 2 pinches of salt.

First of all, remove the top leaves from the cabbage and cut it in half, and then chop one half of the vegetable in any way. Place the cabbage sliced in a bowl, lightly salt it, and apply it with hands to release the juice.

Then clean the carrots and chop them on a coarse grater in a container with cabbage. If you already have onions in mincemeat, you can do without it. If not, then additionally dice the onion, previously cleaned and washed in water.

Pour 30 ml of vegetable oil into a saucepan and save the chopped cabbage and carrots in it to softness.


Remove and place in container.

Boil the rice for 15-18 minutes, then rinse it in cool water so that it does not stick.

Put the rice in a bowl of stewed vegetables.

Add the minced meat there too. You can choose it to your liking: chicken, pork, beef, etc., but pork beef mince is most juicy in the dish.

Pound a chicken egg into a bowl, add salt and spices to taste and mix everything together.

As a result, you should have a wet vegetable and meat mince.

Pour wheat flour on a plate and, forming small cutlets dipped in minced water in the hands, dipped in flour on both sides.

So do the same with the rest of the cooked stuffing, laying the blanks on the board. At this stage, you can freeze them and get semi-finished products that you can fry at any time and lightly steamed, having prepared the sauce.

Pour the rest of the vegetable oil into the pan, heat it and put the lazy cabbage rolls breaded in flour. Fry for about 3-4 minutes on one side over medium heat.

Then turn the “lazy” cutlets on the other side and torment them for the same amount of time.

Place cutlets in a saucepan.

To make the cabbage roll juicy, they need to be steamed in a sauce. Scald a large tomato with boiling water and remove the skin from it by cutting it crosswise.

Cut the flesh of the tomato on them and place the stew-pan on the fire.

Add sour cream and granulated sugar with salt. let stand for about 3-4 minutes and turn off, until sour cream did not have time to curl

Serve lazy cabbage rolls hot with bread and greens.
