Lobio is one of the most popular dishes of Georgian cuisine. This is not surprising, because it is nourishing, useful and economical. Its main ingredient is beans. By the way, “lobio” is beans, only in Georgian. Lobio has one drawback - its preparation requires a lot of time. However, lobio of canned beans is prepared quickly, although it is not inferior in taste to this dish prepared according to traditional recipes.

  • It is not necessary to mix in the preparation of canned beans with dry, since the time of their preparation varies greatly.
  • Without onions, beans will not resemble lobio even remotely; it is unacceptable to exclude it from the recipe.
  • Spices and spices have a strong influence on the taste of the finished dish. A distinctive feature of Georgian cuisine is the use of hot spices, aromatic herbs and greenery. If you do not eat hot, then you can choose a recipe without pepper, but greens and spices are required to use. Preference is better to give kinze, saffron, tarragon, mint. A simple recipe for lobio canned beans

Composition:

  • red canned beans - 0, 42 kg;
  • tomato paste - 70 g;
  • garlic - 3 cloves;
  • wine vinegar (3 percent) - 20 ml;
  • onions - 100 g;
  • ground coriander - pinch;
  • fresh cilantro - 50 g;
  • vegetable oil - 20 ml;
  • hops-suneli - to taste.

Method of preparation:

  • Open a can of beans, put it in the pan with the juice. Add tomato paste, mix. If you have canned beans in tomato juice, you do not need to add paste.
  • Peel garlic cloves, cut and remove the central part of them. Finely chop the rest with a knife, fold into a small container, pour vinegar.
  • Greenery tear your hands.
  • Free onion from the husk, cut into thin half-rings.
  • Heat the butter in a pan, put the onion in it. Pass it to transparency.
  • Put the greens, garlic and onion in the pan with the beans. Add seasonings. Heat over low heat and simmer for 10 minutes.

Canned beans lobio can be served cold. However, even if you are going to serve the dish as a cold snack, you must first warm it, then cool it, so that it has a homogeneous and harmonious taste.

Lobio of red canned beans and nuts

Composition:

  • red beans preserved in their own juice - 0, 42 kg;
  • walnuts - 100 g;
  • garlic - 4 cloves;
  • cilantro - 50 g;
  • tomato paste - 50 g;
  • wine vinegar (3 percent) - 20 ml;
  • onions - 0, 2 kg;
  • vegetable oil - 50 ml;
  • hops-suneli, dried basil - to taste.

Method of preparation:

  • Cut onions into small cubes, fry in vegetable oil.
  • Pour the contents of the jar of beans (together with the liquid) into the pan with onions. Extinguish over low heat for 10 minutes.
  • Crank nuts through the grinder.
  • Finely chop the greens with a knife.
  • Pass garlic through a press.
  • Mix garlic, tomato paste, nuts, greens, seasonings. Add this mixture to the beans, stir, simmer for a couple more minutes.
  • Add vinegar, stir and remove from heat.

Lobio of red canned beans and nuts is quite a rich dish. It does not need any additions, including meat.

White Canned Lobio

Composition:

  • white beans (canned) - 0, 42 kg;
  • garlic - 4 cloves;
  • fresh basil - 20 g;
  • fresh coriander - 20 g;
  • walnuts - 100 g;
  • carrots - 100 g;
  • onions - 0, 2 kg;
  • vegetable oil - 100 ml;
  • wine vinegar (3 percent) - 20 ml;
  • hops-suneli - to taste.

Method of preparation:

  • Open the jar with the beans, pour the liquid out of it into the cup, place the beans in the bowl.
  • Chop the greens.
  • Cut the peeled carrots into thin strips. You can grind it with the help of a grater for Korean salads.
  • Peel the onion, cut it into thin half-rings.
  • Chop the nuts with a blender and fry in a pan without oil for 2-3 minutes.
  • Remove the nuts from the pan, pour half the oil indicated in the recipe onto it, put the carrots and chopped greens into it. Pass them within 5 minutes.
  • In another pan, heat the second batch of butter and fry the onions in it.
  • Add two tablespoons of beans to the nut paste, mix them with a blender while turning the beans into mashed potatoes.
  • Combine the beans, mashed with the nut paste, with the whole, add the carrots, greens and onions to it, season and mix.
  • Add vinegar and mix again.

Lobio prepared according to this recipe can be served as a cold snack. If he is assigned the role of the main dish, then it is necessary to add the liquid drained from the jar and extinguish it in it for 10 minutes.

Lobio from canned green beans

Composition:

  • canned green beans - 0, 84-0, 96 kg (2 cans);
  • carrots - 0, 2 kg;
  • onions - 0, 2 kg;
  • tomatoes - 0, 2 kg;
  • ground paprika - 5 g;
  • vegetable oil - how much will leave.

Method of preparation:

  • Free the bulbs from the husk, cut into halves of the rings.
  • Peel and grate the carrots for making Korean snacks. If it is not in the house, you can use the usual grater with large holes.
  • Pour some oil into the pan, put vegetables into it and fry over low heat so that they become completely soft.
  • Add the contents of the jars of beans to the pan, season and simmer for 10 minutes under the lid.

The dish looks very appetizing, while it turns out not too high in calories. If you want it to be truly dietary, you can not fry the vegetables, and immediately put them out with beans, but then the heat treatment time will have to be slightly increased.

Lobio from canned beans with minced meat in a slow cooker

Composition:

  • canned beans (white or red) - 0, 42-0, 48 kg;
  • ground beef - 0, 2 kg;
  • onions - 100 g;
  • tomato - 150 g;
  • wine vinegar (3 percent) - 5 ml;
  • garlic - 1 clove;
  • vegetable oil - 20 ml;
  • hops-suneli, salt - to taste;
  • fresh cilantro - 50 g.

Method of preparation:

  • Pour boiling water over tomatoes, peel and cut into small cubes.
  • Finely chop the onion and garlic.
  • Pour oil into the bowl of the multicooker, put onion and garlic. Select the “Frying” or “Baking” mode. Fry the vegetables for 5 minutes, then add the minced meat to them, fry for another 10 minutes. Put the tomatoes and cook in the same mode for another 10 minutes.
  • Add the contents of a jar of beans to the multicooker bowl, add salt and season. Turn on the “Soup” or similar program for 5 minutes.
  • Add vinegar, stir. Leave lobio for half an hour in heating mode.

Lobio of canned beans with minced meat is eaten hot.

Canned beans lobio is cooked much faster than dry beans, but the taste is no less pleasant. This hearty meal can be served both hot and cold.
