  • The composition of crab sticks can be different. Preference is given to products of proven manufacturers who produce surimi according to traditional technology using a significant amount of minced fish.
  • Frozen crab sticks are often cheaper than chilled ones. They can be used to make most snacks as well as chilled, with the exception of crab sticks, as the structure of frozen surimi is somewhat different - they are less elastic. However, when using frozen crab sticks, you need to defrost them in advance, since it is impossible to accelerate the thawing process by heating in a microwave.
