To make dumpling soup, you will need:
- beef meat - 500 g (it is desirable to take the flesh and bones, so the soup will be rich),
- potatoes - 3 pcs.,
- onion - 2 pcs.,
- carrots - 1 pc.,
- salt - to taste,
- vegetable oil - 2-3 tbsp. l.,
- tomato paste - 1 tbsp. l.,
- water.
For cooking dumplings, take:
- chicken egg - 1 pc.,
- flour - 5 tbsp. l.,
- water - 3 tbsp. l.,
- salt to taste.
Cooking
1. Prepare all the ingredients needed for cooking soup.
2. My beef. Drain. Fill with water. We put on fire. Cook for an hour, not forgetting to periodically remove the foam, otherwise the broth will be cloudy. Salt broth is recommended not immediately, but after it boils.
3. Cut potatoes into medium sized cubes.
4. After the specified time, chopped potatoes are sent to the broth. Cook until half cooked.
While the potatoes are being cooked, let's start frying.
5. Onion finely crumbled.
6. Fry chopped onion in heated vegetable oil.
7. Grate carrots on a coarse grater.
8. Ship the carrot to the onion. We continue to fry a few more minutes. If you have Bulgarian pepper in the refrigerator, you can cut it into strips and add it to the broil.
9. Put the tomato paste in the fried vegetables. Stir. Tomim a couple of minutes.
10. Ready fried send in broth. Stir.
While the soup is saturated with the taste and aroma of roasted vegetables, we prepare the dough for dumplings.
11. Beat the egg a little.
12. Add salt and water. Stir.
13. Gradually introduce flour. Mix well so that there are no lumps in the dough.
14. Take a teaspoon. Dip it in boiling soup. We take a little dough with a hot spoon and send it to the soup.
Attention: the broth must boil well, otherwise the dumplings will not seize. In a similar way it is managed with all prepared dough. After giving the soup a couple of minutes to simmer, then remove the pan from the heat and insist the dish 5-10 minutes, do not remove the lid.
