And today let's cook meatballs with rice with gravy, but not a plate, but in a slow cooker. Surely you can cook meatballs, but this recipe is a bit different from the rest of your gravy.
What meat can I take for meatballs? Any, but I will take pork, it is more respected in my family. Rice for meatballs is best to take a round. It is perfect for this dish.
Ingredients:
Rice - 0.5 cup;
Stuffing - 500-600 g;
Onions - 1 pc .;
Carrots - 1 pc .;
Egg - 1 pc .;
Tomato paste - 2-3 tbsp. l .;
Vegetable oil;
Spice.
Recipe:
The main condition for tasty meatballs is properly prepared rice. There are several ways to prepare it. The first is to pour boiling water in the evening and leave it until morning. And the second is to boil rice until half cooked. I used the second method. Fill the rice with cold water, bring to a boil and cook for 10 minutes in lightly salted water.
Fold the rice into a fine sieve and let the excess liquid flow down.
Combine cooled rice with minced meat, add egg and spices - black pepper and salt.
Mix well the mass until smooth.
Let's fry. Peel the onions and carrots. Onion cut into cubes, and grate carrots on a coarse grater. Add a little vegetable oil to the bowl of the multicooker and in the “Fry” mode, pass the vegetables for 7 minutes.
Then add tomato paste to them and mix well.
From balls with rice we roll the balls and place them on passaged vegetables right in the multicooker bowl.
Fill the meatballs with water so that it almost covers them. Close the multicooker lid and select the mode “Buckwheat” or “Rice”. Turn it on and wait for the sound of the end of the program.
This is what the meatballs look like at the end of cooking. Appetizing?
Serve meatballs as an independent dish or with mashed potatoes. Enjoy your meal.
