Gravy from stewed chicken with mushrooms is very simple and quick to prepare. Even an aspiring cook who has just started his journey to cooking is able to cope with this recipe.
For sure you tried this recipe for braised chicken, and maybe even tried it yourself. But we still share their views on this dish. In our recipes, we use chicken thighs (it can be a thigh), which gives the dish a priori juiciness. Chicken will suit any side dish - pasta, mashed potatoes and any porridge.
Chicken thighs - 3 pcs .;
Mushrooms - 400 g;
Onions - 1 pc.
Sour cream - 300 g;
Spices - curry, ground black pepper, Italian herbs, salt.
Chicken thighs are very profitable meat. It is cheaper than chicken breast and not dry. Bones that will remain leave for broth.
So, remove the skin from the chicken and cut it in half, cut a bone. Cut the meat into pieces.
Cut the onion into half rings and cut the mushrooms into 4 or more pieces. Depends on size. If you use champignons, you do not need to pre-wash them or clean them if they are clean. Of course, those mushrooms that have visible dirt should be washed, but this should be done wisely, so that the mushrooms do not lose their flavor. Wipe them with a wet washcloth.
Put the meat in the crock-pot, choose the mode “Fry” or the mode “Baking” if there is no frying. Time from 10 minutes. Fry the chicken until it turns white. Crusted crust in multicookers you will not achieve. Add spices.
Add onions and mushrooms to the bowl. Fry another 5-7 minutes.
Add sour cream and water or broth as needed (depending on the thickness of the broth you want).
Close the multicooker lid and select the “quenching” mode for 35 minutes. Here is the finished dish.
Ready gravy can be served as a separate dish, or as a gravy to any side dish - mashed potatoes, pasta or porridge.
