  • Cut the garlic into plates, spread it over the jars.
  • Boil water, dissolve sugar and salt in it, add greens. Boil for 5 minutes, remove the herbs from the brine.
  • Pour in vinegar essence. When the liquid boils again, remove the pan from the heat.
  • Spread the cucumbers on the banks. Put a piece of bell pepper in each jar. On a 3-liter jar usually half of the fruit is enough. Pre-pepper should be washed, cleaned of seeds, scalded with boiling water.
  • Boil the lid.
  • Fill the cucumbers with hot marinade. Roll up.
  • Turn the jars with cucumbers, cover with a blanket, leave to cool completely.

Composition (3 liters):

  • cucumbers - 2 kg;
  • water - 1, 5 l;
  • table vinegar - 150 ml;
  • sugar - 75 g;
  • salt - 75 g;
  • fresh greens, leaves of fruit trees - to taste;
  • bay leaf - 1 pc .;
  • garlic - 3 cloves;
  • Bulgarian pepper - 100 g.

Method of preparation:

  • Cucumbers, washed, soak for 2 hours in ice water. Wash, cut the ends of the fruit. Let the vegetables dry.
  • Wash and dry the spices, greens. Free the Bulgarian pepper from the seeds, coarsely chop.
  • Sterilize the jars, boil suitable lids.
  • Spread garlic, pepper, laurel leaves in cans.
  • Fill the jars with cucumbers.
  • Boil water, pour cucumbers. Cover the jars with lids. Wrap a towel. Wait 20-30 minutes.
  • Drain water from cans, pour vinegar into them.
  • Boil water, put salt, sugar, fruit leaves, greens in it. Boil for 2-3 minutes, strain.
  • Pour marinade over cucumbers, roll up.
  • Turning the jars, wrap them with a blanket and leave to cool until morning.

Cooking cucumbers for this recipe will be easier than the prescription of the Soviet times, but the risk that the blanks “explode” will still be a little higher.

Cucumbers in Volgograd with hot pepper

Composition (3 liters):

  • cucumbers - 2 kg;
  • water - 1, 5 l;
  • salt - 60 g;
  • sugar - 60 g;
  • table vinegar - 120 ml;
  • chilli pepper - 1 pc.

Method of preparation:

  • Spread clean cucumbers on sterilized jars. At the bottom of each place a ring of hot peppers. In a three-liter jar, pepper can be put whole.
  • Fill the vegetables with boiling water, after half an hour drain the liquid.
  • Cook the marinade with the amount of sugar, salt, water and vinegar indicated in the recipe.
  • Fill the cucumbers with boiling marinade, cork.
  • Leave to cool upside down under a blanket.
