Today everyone already knows the origin of the salad. In each country, this salad is called differently. We know him more as a salad Olivier, in Hungary, for example, they call it French salad, and in Italy, our favorite salad is called Russian salad. However, not everyone knows that Olivier salad was born from the old classic salad recipe "Stolichny" only by simplified technology.
Today, such a salad is increasingly called “Moscow” and it is becoming more and more confident in our life. This is not strange, because in Soviet times we could calmly and confidently buy our favorite Doctor Sausage, which was considered the non-replaceable ingredient of Olivier. Everyone in the house had home-made pickled cucumbers, which we all also were confident of, and, lastly, no one doubted as mayonnaise, because, having appeared on the shelves in 250 ml jars, in a matter of hours he simply flew away. Recipe 1. Salad "Moscow"
- Broccoli - 100 g;
- eggs - 2 pcs .;
- potatoes - 2-3 pieces;
- carrot - 1 pc .;
- Bulgarian pepper - 1 pc .;
- green beans - 100 g;
- salami - 150 g;
- parsley, mayonnaise and salt.
Boil broccoli, jacket potatoes, carrots, green beans and eggs in saucepans. Cooked products cleaned and cut into cubes, and green beans into longitudinal pieces. We sort broccoli in inflorescences and a little grind. We will cut the salami into cubes, as when cutting the doctor sausage for Olivier. Bulgarian pepper cut into plates, and then into cubes. Grind greens. Now combine carrots, potatoes, peppers, eggs, broccoli, green beans, salami and greens. Gently mix with a spoon, season with mayonnaise. Recipe 2. Moskovsky salad with mushrooms
- pickled cucumbers - 3 pcs .;
- pickled champignons - 1 bank;
- chicken eggs - 4 pcs .;
- Onions - 1 pc .;
- medium sized potatoes - 3 pcs .;
- carrots - 4 pcs .;
- chicken - 300 g;
- vegetable oil for frying and mayonnaise.
Boil eggs in pans, potatoes, carrots and chicken meat. Chop onions and fry in butter. Merge the pickle from the jar with pickled mushrooms, and send the mushrooms to the onion to fry a little.
Boiled vegetables, peel and dice or grate on a coarse grater - at its discretion. Chicken meat cool and also cut into pieces. We spread the ingredients directly into the salad bowl in layers. The first layer of lettuce is potatoes, then a layer of mushrooms. Grease with mayonnaise and lay out a layer of carrots. Smooth, grease with mayonnaise, then lay out the chicken meat, grease again with mayonnaise, and finally - a layer of diced pickled cucumbers. You can choose the order of the layers by yourself. The main thing is to thin each layer with mayonnaise, and on top to decorate the salad with egg yolks grated on a fine grater.
Recipe 3. Moscow salad with soy sauce
- chicken meat - 250 g;
- pickled cucumbers - 2 pcs .;
- Fresh cucumber - 1 pc .;
- Tomato - 1 pc .;
- potatoes - 3-4 pcs .;
- hard cheese - 40 g;
- soy sauce - 1 tbsp. l .;
Wash the potatoes and boil it in uniform. With pickled cucumbers cut thin skin. Boil chicken and chicken eggs. Then clean their shells and skins. When all the vegetables and meat cool, chop them into small strips and mix. Egg finely chopped. Combine mayonnaise with grated cheese. Separately, we need to combine 200 ml of mayonnaise and soy sauce. Stir well and dress the sliced vegetables. Put the salad in the original salad bowl and pour it with a mixture of mayonnaise and cheese. Fresh cucumber cut into slices. Recipe 4. Moskovsky salad with walnuts
- pork - 200 g;
- apples - 2 pcs .;
- beets - 2 pcs .;
- chopped walnut kernels - 4-5 tablespoons l .;
- green lettuce leaves - 4-5;
- vegetable oil - 4 tbsp. l .;
- celery root;
- chicken egg - 2 pcs .;
- mustard - 2 tsp;
- Vinegar 3% - 2 tbsp.
- sugar and salt to taste.
First, wash the pork and cut it into strips. Fry in vegetable oil until cooked.
Bake the beets in the oven and cut them into strips. Finely chop celery root. Apples peel and cut into strips. Mix all ingredients.
