A tasty and flavorful snack - pickled champignons for half an hour - is cooked really quickly and simply. At first, after reading the list of ingredients and method of preparation, you may get the impression that there is very little water. But if you start to add more water, you will get a completely different concentration of spices and, as a result, champignons will not have that bright and saturated taste. Such champignons can be preserved for the winter, but here you really need marinade in large quantities.

List of ingredients:

  • 1 kg of champignons,
  • 3 tbsp. l table vinegar (9%),
  • 2 tsp. sugar,
  • 5 Sweet Peas,
  • black pepper,
  • 2-3 bay leaves,
  • 2 tsp. salt,
  • 500 ml of water,
  • 4-5 studs umbrellas.

Cooking

1. To start, sort through the mushrooms, and then wash them thoroughly. Mushrooms should be fresh, whole and strong, free from stains of rot and mold. Cut larger mushrooms into 4 parts, and those that are smaller, in half. Keep in mind that after boiling mushrooms will decrease by 2-2, 5.

2. Make the marinade. Pour water into a saucepan, add salt and sugar, table vinegar, spices. Put on the stove and start to warm up.

3. When the marinade boils, pour the mushrooms into the pan. Of course, at first, the water will not cover even half of the total amount, but after 5-7 minutes the champignons will begin to decrease in size.

4. After 10 minutes, all the mushrooms will plunge into the marinade. Cook on low heat for 15-20 minutes. Cover the pot with a lid so that the marinade does not evaporate.

5. Carefully try the hot champignon, it should have a rich mushroom flavor with a taste of spices. Put the pan with the mushrooms in a cool place, when the mushrooms have cooled, move them together with the marinade in the refrigerator for several hours. Of course, you can eat mushrooms right away, filling them with fragrant sunflower oil and adding onions or green onions. But when the mushrooms are infused in the marinade, they will taste better. You can use marinated champignons as your own snack or as a component of salad, pie (kurnik).
